摘要
本文基于上市中小企业2008年银行贷款数据,对我国银行规模和上市中小企业贷款之间的关系进行了实证。结果表明:小银行能够通过之前存续的贷款关系发放关系型贷款;上市中小企业倾向于与多家银行保持贷款关系;相对于大银行,小银行同上市中小企业的银企关系度更弱。基于以上实证结果,我们大胆得出结论:在中国,小银行不应将优质上市中小企业作为贷款对象。
Based on the bank loan data on Chinese listed small-and-medium-sized enter- prises, this paper empirically studies the interrelation between bank size and SME lending in China. We find that Small banks do have a comparative advantage in processing soft in- formation. However, these listed firms tend to establish lending relationships with several banks. These results indicate that, informational transparent SMEs should never be small hanks' main lending clients.
