Mo Yan's Fatigue of Life and Death is not a Chinese rural pastoral ode by name borrowed from the Buddhist scriptures and reincarnation. It shows a strong magic realism sense, suggesting that this piece of land deep suffering and profound self-redemption the animal's appearance and inarticulate human reincarnation past life memories and present experience.
