摘要
应用放射源激发闪烁体发光,测量发光时间特性的单光子计数法,以及按单光子计数原理建立的测量装置,对国产ST401型普通塑料闪烁体的闪烁衰减时间进行了测量,结果为(2.60±0.18)ns。该装置的时间分辨率小于1.8 ns,幅度动态范围大于104,测量精度好于0.1 ns,并可以测量多组份发光时间的闪烁体的时间特性。
The Decay Time of ST401 Type Plastic Scintillator has been measured by Single Photon method. The result is (2.60 +0.18)ns. This device has an intrinsic time resolution less than 1.8 ns, and has a dynamic range of more than 104, and the time measurement accuracy less than 0.1 ns. This devide can be used to meas- ure the time characteristics of multi - source scintillators.
