摘要
自20世纪80年代以来,国外学者对公民科学素质开展了大量研究。中国科协等引进美国米勒关于科学素质的三维体系开展了全国性公民科学素质调查,调查带动了我国公民科学素质研究工作。从公民科学素质的定义到其调查测度等方面的研究一直在争议中不断发展。2006年国务院颁布了《全民科学素质行动计划纲要》,对中国公民科学素质进行了官方界定,并由多个政府部门大联合大协作开展了大规模公民科学素质建设工作。中国公民科学素质研究在调查理论和提升实践两条路径中,对如何衡量中国公民科学素质水平进行了大量的探索性研究。
Immense amounts of studies have been carried out worldwide ever since the 1980s. With the introduction of Miller's Frame- work about scientific literacy, CAST has conducted a series of surveys on civic scientific literacy nationwide, which promoted the re- search work about civic scientific literacy in China. Research has been developing along with continuous disputes concerning various as- pects, such as the definition of civic scientific literacy and the t of it. The Outline of the National Scheme for Scientific Lit- eracy issued by the State Council in 2006 has given an official definition about civic scientific literacy in China, thus initiated large scale of construction work of civic scientific literacy under the pattern of grand collaboration and cooperation by government depart- ments. On the two paths of theoretical and practical research on promoting scientific literacy in China, large amount of exploratory research has been done towards measuring the level of civic scientific literacy.
