摘要
本文意在指出外语能力与翻译能力是密切相关的,译者要打下扎实的英语基础。同时,指出翻译不是一项纯粹的语言活动,还牵涉各种非语言因素,特别是种种文化因素。
This paper intends to point out that foreign language competence and translation competence are closely related to each other, and the translator should lay a solid foundation of English. At the same time, it points out that translation is not only a pure language activity, but also involves a variety of non-lin- guistic factors, especially various cultural factors.
