The solubility properties of ZnCl 2 Phe H 2O system at 25℃ in the whole concentration range is investigated by semimicro phase equilibrium method and the corresponding equilibrium diagram is also constructed. The result indicates that there are 2 complexes formed in the system: Zn(Phe)Cl 2·1/2H 2O and Zn(Phe) 2Cl 2·H 2O.The two complexes are incongruently soluble compounds in water. Under the direction of phase equilibrium result,2 solid complexes are prepared in water and characterized by chemical analysis, elemental analysis,XRD,IR and XPS.
