摘要
晚明辽事史料匮乏的因由,是由于当时复杂纠结的历史时期所造成的。历史的复杂决定了记载的复杂。然而,百年来人们极尽发掘整理,取得了可观的成就。但其中缺乏对当时当事人著述的足够重视,而当时当事人特别是军政人员之著述即别集具有重要的价值,其数量不小,分散各处,亟待搜集整理。《熊廷弼集》的出版为此做了可贵的尝试,而具有普遍意义。它不仅为晚明辽事史料深入发掘整理做出了新样板,更为晚明史料整理开启了新思路。其慎选底本、分卷编排、辑佚钩沉、校勘文字,乃至编制附录等措施足堪效仿。在此基础上,以期一套科学系统的《晚明辽事别集丛刊》问世。
This paper probes into the cause of the lack of historical materials about Liao in the late Ming, elaborates the considerable collecting achievements made people who devoted themselves to searching for his- torical truth in the last century, and discusses the lack of sufficient attention to writing by the parties involved. Writings in particular by military and political personnel are of great value, the number is not small, scattered in urgent need of collection. The Collection of Xiong Ting-bi＇s Works has made a valuable attempt, and is of universal significance. It not only provides a new model for sorting out historical materials about Liao in the late Ming dynasty, but also opens up new ideas about sorting out historical materials in late Ming dynasty. Thus it is necessary that there should be a holistic planning to establish a scientific system of sorting out his- torical materials about Liao in the late Ming.
