摘要
采用硬脂酸为改性剂、丙酮为溶剂,对重质碳酸钙(简称重钙)进行表面改性,并通过改性前后重钙与聚氨酯的复合对重钙改性效果进行表征。结果表明,该法可使硬脂酸均匀包覆在重钙表面,改性后重钙能均匀分散于聚氨酯基体中,使复合材料力学性能有较大提升。
Ground calcium carbonate(GCC) was surface modified by stearic acid modifier and acetone as solvent. Polyurethane(PU) composites were prepared of GCC by means of physical blending. We characterized the GCC and its PU composites. The result showed that the GCC was coated by stearic acid and modified GCC could uniformly and compatibly disperse in polyurethane matrix. The modified GCC/PU composites had also dramatically improved tensile mechanical properties.
