摘要
本研究对中国大陆地区18个省(自治区、直辖市)的9583名聋生、2709名特殊教育学校使用手语教学的教师及949名社会上的成年聋人使用手语情况进行问卷调查,结果显示:成年聋人主要使用本地手语,而师生多为中国手语和本地手语并用;聋生和成年聋人使用本地手语的水平高于使用中国手语水平,教师使用中国手语的水平高于本地手语的水平;虽然教师学习手语的渠道多元化,但职前培训和规范化学习有待加强;90%以上的聋生和成年聋人收看过电视台的手语新闻,但"能看懂很多"的人数不到10%;绝大多数的聋生、教师和成年聋人认为有必要并希望制定通用手语。
The study was conducted to explore the use of sign language in China. 13241 participants, including 9583 deaf students, 2709 teachers of special education and 949 deaf adults from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of Chinese mainland participated in the questionnaire. The results showed that deaf adults mainly use "local sign languages", while most teachers of special education and deaf students use both "Chinese sign language" and "local sign language"; Deaf students and deaf adults use "local sign language" better than "Chinese sign language", while it is the opposite from the teachers in special education school. More than 90% deaf students and deaf adults watched TV news with sign language, but only less than 10% of them understood it.
