摘要
"父与子"关系原型,一直是犹太作家作品不断书写和阐释的主题。美国犹太作家诺曼·梅勒在小说《裸者与死者》与《夜幕下的大军》中通过"父与子"订契、"父与子"失和与"父与子"重建,描写了犹太"子"辈面对代表传统的"父"辈权威与文化革新的二元选择时,对文化身份经历了从笃信、怀疑到批判式认同的发展过程。小说在继承传统犹太企望——父辈与子辈和谐承接的同时,认可了新一代"子"辈的叛逆特性,并希望在此基础重建"父与子"新型关系,表达了二战后犹太移民后代对重构文化身份的积极思考,是对犹太原型"父与子"关系的一种现代性阐释。
Jewish archetype " Father and Son" has been constantly written about and interpreted by Jewish writers and works from various perspectives. American Jewish writer Norman Mailer, by outlining the agreement, estrangement and reestablishment of "Father and Son", describes the change of Jewish "Sons" from faith and doubt to critical acceptance on their cultural identity when they are faced with the choice between the traditional representative of "Fathers" and cultural innovations. The novels continue the traditional Jewish anticipation -- the harmonious connection of "Father and Son", approve the rebelling character of the new generation of "Sons" and wish to reestablish a modified relationship between "' Father and Son", standing for the serious thinking of the post-war Jewish immigrant offspring on the reconstitution of their cultural identity, and thus providing a new interpretation on the Jewish archetype "Father and Son".
