摘要
针对目前电源分配网络设计中传统目标阻抗法带来的过度设计问题,提出了一种基于改进目标阻抗的电源分配网络设计方法。与传统目标阻抗不同的是,该方法提出的目标阻抗为电阻和电感的若干组组合,它在频域上表现为一条阻抗值随频率上升的曲线。在实际操作中,在满足该目标阻抗的情况下,选择使用电容器个数最少的一组组合当作最优目标阻抗。用Matlab实现了该方法的PDN设计工具,实验表明,该方法与传统目标阻抗法相比,对于高频段PDN网络设计限制更少,去耦电容器使用个数更少,具有较强的实用性。
To solve the over design problem which is brought by the traditional target impedance in PDN de-sign, a PDN design method based on an improved target impedance is proposed. What is different from the traditional target impedance, the proposed impedance is the combination of resistance and inductance and it shows as rising fre-quency-impedance curves. In the practical operation, the combination which uses the minimum decoupling capacitors (decaps) is selected as the best target impedance. A PDN design tool has been implemented in Matlab, and practice shows that compared with the method which use the traditional target impedance, the proposed method use less de-caps and has a strong practicability.
