摘要
《西域闻见录》是18世纪中叶由奉使西域的清朝官员七十一撰写的一部地方通志。它详细记载了当时新疆和中亚的自然风光、人文风情和重大历史事件始末,为近现代学者全面研究新疆提供了重要资料。然而,该书书名及版本之复杂、作者生平事迹之模糊、史料价值评价分歧之严重,在传统方志古籍中都是比较少见的。因而,在细致梳理前人相关成果的基础上,结合新的资料与研究范式进一步推进对它的探讨就成为必要。
The Notes in Chinese Turkestan is widely known as a famous local chronicle,which was written by QI Shi-yi who was sent on a mission to Chinese Turkestan by the Qing government in the middle of 18th century.It recorded the details of the landscape,culture and significant historic events,which supplied important materials for researchers to conduct the thorough study of XinJiang that time.Meanwhile,there are little known facts about its edition,the life story of the author,and the evaluations of its historical data are quite different,which is rarely seen in the ancient books.Based on achievements of the previous research,the writer will review and value it with his own viewpoint so that it can be beneficial to promote the further research of The Notes in Chinese Turkestan.
