摘要
美术考古学是一门新兴的交叉性学科,它的研究对象可从三个层次把握:从学科内涵而言,美术考古学研究的是古代艺术品;从与美术史和考古学的比较来看,美术考古学的目的旨在了解人类的文化史和观念史;从研究对象的特征上讲,美术考古学研究对象的宗教色彩比较浓厚,这与研究对象的来源有密切关系。
Art archeology is an emerging cross - discipline. Its research objects can be acquainted with three levels. From the discipline connotation, it studys the ancient art. Compared with art history and archeology, it aims to understand human cultural history and ideology. From the characteristics of research object, it has trong religious overtones, which is closely related to the source of study
