摘要
本文就可变比特率视频编码的概念及其在ATM网络中传输的优势作了详细阐述对VBR视频业务特征进行了分析,特别就目前广泛应用的MPEG视频业务做了大量的统计分析,为该业务建模奠定了基础。
Variable Bit Rate(VBR) Video codec and its advantages transmitted in ATM networks is expound in detail, the characteristics of VBR Video traffic, especially for MPEG Video traffic, is analyzed by means of statistics. It is foundation for constructing VBR video traffic model.
