摘要
词典学作为汇集多种学科为一体的应用学科,应该也必须从语言学理论中汲取养分,获得长足发展。无论从词典理论上,还是从词典编纂实践上来说,语言学理论对学习词典的影响都是毋庸置疑的。《麦克米伦高阶英语词典》2版很好地将语义场理论、隐喻理论、语境理论及语用学原理融入到词典编纂之中。
As an inter-discipline applied science, lexicography should, and must, absorb me numnon of linguistics for its own growth. Linguistic theories are evidently influential on dictionary-for-learners both in lexicographical theories and in dictionary compiling practices. This paper explores how semantic field theory, metaphor theory, context theory and pragmatic principles are integrated in the compiling of MacMillan English Dictionary for Advanced Learners (2nd Edition) .
