摘要
为了提升效率,利用球面四叉树对地球表面进行划分管理形成树形结构,在叶子节点添加粒子发射器形成粒子源,提出了利用粒子源组合形成四叉树粒子系统的思想,实现了全球范围内的超大规模天气效果模拟。同时,实现了一种区域编辑算法,并结合粒子源剔除的思想来提升渲染效率,实现了任意形状区域内的天气效果实时模拟。实验结果表明,所描述的算法不仅有强大的区域编辑能力,并且能高效地模拟全球任意范围内的天气效果。
This paper introduced an idea of quad tree particle system (QTPS) to realize weather simulation in scalable region. QTPS divides earth surface into small parts with help of sphere quad-tree, and adds a particle emitter in each leaf node to make up a particle source node. QTPS consists of all the particle source nodes. Besides, this paper presented a region editing access and an idea of particle source nodes culling to simulate weather phenomenon in any region shape in real-time. Experiments show that this algorithm can simulate weather phenomenon in any region around the world in real-time and has region editing ability.
