摘要
基于电磁场理论,推导了单轴各向异性左手材料中电磁波的传播特性,得出电磁波在各向异性左手材料中传播的条件限制.分析了正常材料和单轴各向异性左手材料界面处发生全反射现象和偏振现象情况,得到了与正常材料以及各向同性左手材料显著不同的结论,有特殊物理意义.
Physical characteristics of electromagnetic wave propagation in uniaxially anisotropic left-handed materials were derived from electromagnetic theory, and the conditions of electromag- netic wave propagation in such materials were obtained. Analysis was made to the phenomena of the total reflection and the polarization at the interface between the right-handed materials and the uniaxially anisotropic left-handed materials. The conclusions are significantly different from those in the right-handed materials or the isotropie left-handed materials. These conclusions have spe- cial physical significance.
