摘要
黑格尔曾经正确地指出:在时代困境中人要么成为客体遭到压迫,要么把自然当作客体加以压迫。那么在此困局中,一种对理性的批判性反思理所应当地被推上了历史前台,从而也引发人们对非(反)理性或个体自由的热望。显然,这种反思或救赎期待是重要的,也是必须的,虽然它也暴露了人们一种绝望或无奈的心态。不过关键还在于,审美已经成为一种真正的反叛和救赎力量,亦即一种新的现代性力量。审美现代性的进展既是人们长期反思的结果,也是现代性的必然之路。如何弥合主体的分裂?如何成就完整的"人"?这是现代美学的中心议题,而其核心要素则是(审美)自由。
Hegel once correctly pointed out that when man is trapped in the predicament of the times, either he becomes an object and is oppressed as such or he treats nature as an object and oppresses it. Such a predicament pushes to the forefront of history a critical reexamination of "rationality" and arouses in man a desire for anti-rationality or individual freedom. Ob- viously, this reexamination or expectation of redemption is important and necessary, although it betrays a despair or helpless- ness on the part of man. What is more important, aesthetics has become an authentic rebelling and redeeming force, a new force for "modernity". Aesthetic modernity is not only the result of a long-term reexamination but also a sure path to moder- nity. How to prevent the disintegration of man? How to become a whole man? These are core issues in modem aesthetics and aesthetic freedom is their key element.
