摘要
词块在自然语言中普遍存在,对促进语言习得和语言输出意义重大。鉴于当前大学生英语听说水平发展缓慢的现状,笔者以普通本科院校大一新生为研究对象,进行了为期17周的词块教学课堂实验来验证其对大学生英语听力的影响。数据统计结果显示,在交互环境下进行的词块教学不同程度地提高了学生的对话理解、篇章理解、单词拼写和句子听写能力,其教学效果优于交际教学法。
Chunks are widely used in the natural language, and they play extremely important roles in the input and output of the English language. In view of college students' poor listening and speaking abilities, the writer has offered some fresh'men (the subjects) a teaching experiment for 17weeks, in order to test the chunks' influence on students' listening. The findings showed that chunk teaching has promoted students' listening in the aspects of dialogue compre- hension, text comprehension, word spelling and sentence dictation, and it has been more effective than communicative teaching.
