摘要
在大学英语教学改革和发展中,多媒体技术具有无可否认的优势,如丰富的表现力和足够的吸引力,容量大和效率高,有利于突破教学重点和难点等。然而,多媒体技术也暴露出一些弊端,如多媒体信息量过大致使学生的学习兴趣和教师的主导作用不能持久,学生和教师缺少情感交流等。以构建主义为基础,充分利用多媒体技术,建立以学生为主体、以教师为主导的双方互动的教学新模式,不仅可以有效地提高教学效果和教学水平,而且有利于培养社会需要的创新型人才。
In the reform and development of college English teaching, it cannot be denied that multimedia technologies have such advantages as rich expression, sufficient attraction, large capacity and high efficiency, and convenience in breaking through key teaching points and difficulties. However, multimedia technologies have some shortcomings, for instance, students' interest in learning and the leading role of teachers cannot be sustained because of large information volumes, and affective interactions between students and teachers are insufficient. A new teaching mode which regards the students as the main body, puts teachers in a leading position, and emphasizes interactions between students and teachers, can not only improve teaching efficiency and teaching levels, but also be beneficial to train innovative people.
