The DCPD petroleum resins used in printing ink were ereviewed. The principal properties of ink and resins required for printing ink were discussed and the ways to control DCPD polymerization and modify DCPD resins to satisfy aforementioned properties were introduced. The trend of DCPD resins development in the world were also reviewed.
