《西游记》"镇元子故事"中的东方朔形象,具四重隐语功能。他以"华阳洞主"为号,除可借以暗示舒的辈份、隐示"华阳洞天主人"真实身份外,还隐示《西》书最终定稿者名号居处;因为他是隐语大师,故又暗示最终定稿者署名采用了隐语。
Four connotations could he deduced from Dongfang Shuo＇s image as depicted in ZhengYuanZi Episode of the Chinese classic novel ＂Journey to the West＂. An in-depth analysis of these connotations will disclose that the author of the novel ＂Journey to the West＂ is a argot master and might decide the final pseudonym pen name in this argot manner.
