美国公立高等教育协调机制探析——以华盛顿州为例 被引量:1

摘要 美国公立高等教育带有明显的区域性特征,各州在构建符合自身需求的公立高等教育系统过程中形成了差异较明显的州域模式。华盛顿州拥有发达的公立高等教育,研究型大学、综合性大学和社区与技术学院三类院校构成了该州层次分明的公立高等教育系统。在公立高等教育的州级管理领域,华盛顿州进行了积极探索,建立了较为成功的协调机制,为该州高等教育的健康有序发展提供了制度保障。 Regionality is the apparent character of American public higher education. Each state has formed its distinctive model in the process of constructing its public higher education system in accordance with its requirement. On the case of the Washington state, it has a structured and distinguished system of public higher education which composes of research universities, comprehensive universities and community & technical colleges. The state has made great efforts in the statewide ad- ministration of public higher education and formed an effective coordination system which guarantees its public higher education development in a healthy and orderly way.
