摘要
国内外研究表明听力词汇有别于阅读词汇,阅读词汇可能向前者转化。然而很少有人研究教材语料中词频与听力词汇习得的关系。本文从大学英语四级考试复合式听写评卷结果切入,根据Nation关于听力、阅读词汇的理论,以及词频与二语词汇习得关系的相关研究,探究教材语料中词频与听力词汇习得的关系,结果发现无论是综合或读写教材,还是听说教材中的相关词汇的词频与听力词汇习得有直接关联;在相近的词频情况下,听写测试结果还与词长有关。
Researches prove that listening vocabulary differs from reading vocabulary which,under some circumstances,may change into the former one.However,few studies approach the correlation between word frequency in textbooks and listening vocabulary acquisition.Based on Nation’s theories about listening,reading vocabulary,and some other related researches about word frequency and second language acquisition,the correlation between word frequency in textbooks and listening vocabulary acquisition is analyzed by studying CET 4 compound dictation results and word frequency in textbooks.The results reveal that listening vocabulary acquisition is significantly correlated with word frequency in textbooks;dictation results are related to word length when word frequencies are close.
