摘要
本文从生态批评视角出发,从自然书写和人与自然的关系层面解读《白鲸》中赫尔曼·麦尔维尔的自然生态思想,并分析了其自然观的成因。麦尔维尔敬畏自然,倡导人与自然和谐相处的思想对当今社会生态环境的恶化具有极大的警示作用。
This article is supposed to present an ecocritical interpretation of Herman Melville＇s views of nature from the description of nature and the relationship between man and nature in Moby Dick.It further analyzes the causes of Melville＇s views of nature.Melville＇s revere for nature and the idea of living in harmony with nature is a warning to the modern society where the ecological environment is deteriorating.
