中国园林具有很强的地域特征。相比中国的北方园林、江南园林,岭南园林以其"疏朗通透,兼蓄秀茂"的特色独树一帜。而作为地域文化一个重要组成部分,岭南园林在世俗务实、以人为本,以及包容性、实践性、创新性等方面无疑是做得最好的。这也让岭南园林在探索现代地域景观的道路上远远领先于其他的传统园林。奥雅中信红树湾住宅区的景观设计是奥雅公司探索"现代岭南"景观的一个成功案例,它不仅传承了岭南园林的自然之美和传统意境,还在现代功能上进行了创新,让人们找回高密度公寓居住区中人与自然的联系,在放松的户外环境里享受邻里般的社区生活。
Chinese garden varied regionally. Compared to China＇s northern garden, jiangnan Garden, landscape of the Lingnan garden is unique with its characteristics of ＂Open, Transparent, Diverse, and natural＂ . As an important part of the regional culture, the Lingnan garden is leading other Chinese gardens in the aspect of landscape features of ＂practical, human-oriented, inclusive, diverse , and innovative＂ , as well as the courage to explore the modem landscape of regional gardens. CITIC Mangrove Bay residential landscape is a successful attempt of L ＆ A to explore the modem Lingnan Garden landscape. It not only inherit he natural beauty and the traditional mood of the Lingnan garden, it＇ s also innovative in terms of garden＇ s function by enabling people living in high-density apartment to retrieve the contact between man and nature, and enjoy the neighborhood and community life in a relaxed outdoor environment.
