摘要
欧里庇得斯的《美狄亚》、尤金.奥尼尔的《榆树下的欲望》和托妮.莫里森的《宠儿》中均有母亲杀婴的情节,这些情节往往被认为是希腊悲剧杀婴母题的艺术再现,它们承袭了希腊悲剧中对于女性身份的认可、女性权利的重视这一基本精神,并且逐步走向深入。然而在当代人文语境中对其反思,发现她们的悲剧也暗示了女性实现自我的艰难历程,为当代女性实现具有理想人格的主体性建构提供了思考的空间。
The plot of slaying children by their mothers appears in Euripides' Medea ,Eugene O' Neill' s Desire Under the Elms and Toni Morrison' s Beloved, which is regarded as artistic redivivus about the motive of slaying children. It derives from Greek tragedy's original spirit on recoganizing of female' s existence and respect for their rights , besides it explores further development. However, when we introspect these women in contemprory situation we can find their tragedy implying the anguished process on seeking the self and provide meditation space with modern women of reconstruction of independence on realizing ideal personality.
