鬼子的小说具有很大的魅力,这不仅仅因为他的小说以悲悯的情怀和体恤的精神去关注阳光下的苦难,书写社会下层人物的生活环境及生存状态,更大的原因在于鬼子善于运用文学陌生化手法进行创作,其小说新颖奇特的题目、巧合荒诞的情节、寓意深刻的意象等引起读者强烈的阅读和探究欲望,使读者欲罢不能,获得更多的审美享受。
Guizi’s novels possess an extraordinary fascination for his readers, which can be primarily explained by the attention in his works that he pays to the environment and living conditions of grassroots, and by the compassion he has for their suffering and pain. But, apart from that simple reason, a deeper cause may be that he is an expert in using defamiliarization for literature creation, especially in novels, in which the titles original and queer, plot coincident and absurd, and the characters he creates are of profound allegory. All this seems to make the readers derive ever-increasing pleasure from reading his works.
