摘要
通过构建消费者之间具有正的组内外部性的双边市场模型,研究了组内外部性和移动增值服务的价格对垄断运营商的定价方式及利润的影响。研究表明:当组内外部性较强时,运营商更倾向于向增值服务提供商收取较高的接入费,而向消费者收取较低的入网费,运营商总收益越高;当增值服务的价格较高且组间外部性强度较低时,增值服务提供商的接入费越低,消费者的入网费则越高,运营商的总收益也较低。
This paper analyzes the effect of the intra - group externalities and the price of mobile value - added services on the pricing strategies of the monopoly MNO (mobile network operator) by developing a two - sided market model with posi- tive intra - group externalities between consumers, as well as on the profit of the MNO. The results show that, when the intra - group externality is sufficient large, the MNO prefers to charge a higher access fee from service providers and decreases the subscription fee of consumers, at the same time the profit of the MNO is higher; when the price of value -added services is higher and the inter - group externality is lower enough, the MNO is willing to set a higher access with fee respect to sub- scription fee, and the profit of the MNO is lower.
