摘要
在城市,英语教育已被广大家长与学生所接受,但在广大的农村,英语教育却不甚理想,与城市相距甚大。笔者从软硬环境两个方面分别论述了当前农村英语教育的现状及存在的问题。这些问题包括教育观念落后、教学设施落后、师资力量薄弱、英语接触环境较少等,并提出自己的一些想法,如加强师资队伍建设,加大交流、更新观念、鼓励培训机构的设置等,以期对农村英语教育整体质量的提高有所帮助。
In the urban area,English education has become an important part of junior and senior education. However,in most of the undeveloped regions in China,English education did not rinsed as that much attention as it should be. There are severe differences between the level of English education in rural region and the city.As will be mentioned in this article,several problems existing may lead to this current situation.Falling behind the modern education strategy （concept）,lacking of necessary ut- ilities,teaching resources as well as English speaking background, all of these,have made English education hard on its step moving forward.However,based on these points,we could take effective measures to improve the English education in undeveloped regions.These measures could be gathering more teaching resources,enhancing communication among institutions,revising old teaching strategy （concept） and encouraging the establishment of English teaching institutions.
