摘要
低硅埃达克岩(low-SiO2adakites,LSA,SiO2<60%)和高硅埃达克岩(high-SiO2adakites,HSA,SiO2>60%)的术语是Martin等(2005)提出来的。本文不赞同上述分类,因为,他们的低硅埃达克岩是赞岐岩而不是埃达克岩。赞岐岩是幔源的,埃达克岩是壳源的,虽然埃达克岩可以与地幔混合形成高镁的埃达克岩,但仍然是壳源的。不应当把壳源的岩浆和幔源的岩浆混淆起来。
The terms of low-SlOe adakite (LSA, SlOe 〈 60% ) and high-SlOe adakite (HSA, SlOe 〉 60% ) were put forward by Martin et al. (2005). This paper does not agree with this classification, because the low-SlOe adakite is sanukite rather than adakite. Sanukite is a mantle source rock, whereas adakite is a crust-derived rock. Although adakite can be mixed with the mantle to form high-Mg adakite, it is still of the crust source. Crust- and mantle-derived magmas are different types of magma, so it is not proper to confuse them.
