摘要
运算化设计是一个伴随着计算机科学理论及实践发展而逐渐成熟的设计技术,并对设计方法产生深刻影响。它以"参数化"名字被大家迅速认知,也不可避免地产生了一些曲解。运算化设计产生于传统设计之中,并由于计算机技术的强大支持而突显出一些鲜明的特征。国内建筑运算化设计发展势头强劲,并在近期出现了一些特点鲜明、设计完成度较高的项目实践与探索。NoDE-UD大连工作坊在此背景下,尝试了介于理论与实践之间的工作状态,以期寻求更多积极的可能性。
Computational Design is a new design agenda which is developed along the theories and practice of computation in the design fields. It has influenced methodologies of design profoundly. Computational Design is often confused with "Parametric Design" and has caused some problematic misreading. Computational Design is gestated from traditional design methods, and emerged distinctively due to its power and improvement of interface. In China, some recent architectural practices have applied Computational Design to construction or experimentation, which are well implemented and distinguished. NoDE-UD Dalian Workshop was held at this time, to test a new design direction by linking theories and practice, seeking for more creative possibilities of design.
