摘要
对以全网铺设光纤的总长度最短为优化目标进行波分复用(WDM)网络的抗毁设计,研究了波长转换器对多光纤网状WDM网络设计的影响。研究结果表明:设计多光纤WDM网络时若不考虑网络抗毁,引入波长转换对减少全网建设成本没有作用:但使用波长转换器可以减少全网需要的光纤总长度,特别是针对网络使用链路保护的情况。
In this paper, a new resilient network model aimed at minimizing total fiber length is established and the influence of wavelength conversion on design of restorable multi-fiber WDM networks is studied simultaneously. The results show that introducing wavelength converters has no benefits to reduce the cost of multi-fiber networks without considering survivability, and using wavelength converters can reduce the total fiber length in evidence, especially with link protection especially.
