摘要
借用罗伯特.杨的同异二元辩证观点,对照萨义德和霍米.巴巴后殖民理论对他者的表现,可从斯皮瓦克的后殖民思想中读出异质伦理的内核。斯皮瓦克通过奥维德《变形记》中的两个形象归纳出两种不同的伦理模式:以自我为中心的纳西斯模式和凸显他者绝对异质性的艾可模式。斯皮瓦克批评弗洛伊德等西方哲学家没有超越纳西斯模式,而她则在对殖民文学和后殖民文学的解读中揭示出他者的绝对异质性。
In the framework of dialectics of the same and the other proposed by Robert Young and in comparison with the con- cern with the other in Said and Bhabha, we can approach the ethics of alterity in Spivak＇ s postcolonialism. In her reading of Metamorphoses by Ovid, Spivak expounds on two ethical models： the self-same love of Narcissus and the absolute aherity of Echo. Spivak takes issue with the western philosophers who fall within the Narcissus model in their concern with the racial oth- er and brings to light the absolute alterity of the other in her reading of colonial and postcolonial literary works.
