摘要 对美国研究型大学国家实验室主任的研究表明,其遴选过程与大学校长非常相似,一般是在既定的遴选方法和原则下,经过推荐委员会推荐和遴选委员会选举产生;候选人的得奖情况、性别和学科背景往往会是遴选中的重要标准;主任的任期年限不固定,离职原因大致有合同到期、职位变动和突发事件三种。 The director selection system of National laboratories in American research universities is studied in this paper. The results demonstrate that: the selection process of the director is similar with that of the president of univer- sity, and both are recommended by the screening committee and elected by the search committee; the award situa- tion, sex and education background of the candidate are the three key factors in the selection process; the term of of- fice is not fixed, and the three main types of demission reasons are expiration of contract, position alteration and in- stant event respectively.
