摘要
针对当前大学公共英语教学中存在的学生学习积极性差以及专业英语教育效果差等问题,基于专业语料库建设对公共英语的教学模式进行了改革,并在某专业的公共英语教学中进行了实践;通过问卷调查和课程考核的方式对这种教学模式的教学效果进行了分析,分析结果显示,该研究提出的教学模式在提高学生英语学习兴趣以及专业英语水平方面是有效的。
In view of college students＇ inactiveness in English learning and low efficiency of English for Special Purpose （ESP）, this study throws some light on the reform of college English teaching mode based on constructing ESP corpora, which has been put into practice. The effect of this college English teaching mode based on constructing ESP corpora is analyzed by questionnaire and course examination. And the result illustrates that such teaching mode is quite effective in promoting students＇ interest and ESP level despite some drawbacks.
