摘要
在英语学习的四项基本技能(听说读写)中,阅读理解备受关注,尤其在以培养学生学习能力的高校英语教学中,教学工作者对传统的教育方式越来越不满足。关联理论是一个试图从认知角度探讨人类话语理解与交际的理论,近年来已越来越广泛地被研究者用来探讨英语教学。本文以关联理论为理论基础,分析传统阅读教育中存在的问题,提出有效的阅读教学策略,提高学生的阅读理解能力。
Reading,one of the four most essential skills(listening,speaking,reading and writing) has been regarded as the crucial important component in college English teaching.Nowadays educators are not satisfied with the traditional teaching mode,especially because college English emphasizes students' learning ability.Relevance Theory,a cognitive approach to human communication,has been employed more and more frequently in English teaching.The paper discusses problems of traditional reading comprehension and puts forward strategies to improve and develop students 'reading capability.
