The optimum conditions of propogating infectious bursal disease virus(IBDV) in Vero cells have been studied.It was found that inoculated IBDV was more sensitive to Vero cells.This result was critical to the efficient virus production on large scale by using Vero cells.IBDV multiplication was influenced by the serum concentration and pH in the medium after virus innoculation.The optimum serum concentration and pH were 2% and 7.0 for IBDV multiplication respectively.The suitably high cell density was useful for IBDV propagation.
