The cerebrovaseular disease is one of the three diseases resulting in death and the main cause of death for hypertension patients. The majority of survivors have different grades of disability bringing bur- dens to the family and society. Many studies indicate that primary aldosteronism result in earlier and heavier target organ damage than essential hypertension. Screening of primary aldosteronism from hypertension popu- lation and the early use of aldosterone receptors antagonist may provide evidence for the prevention and treat- ment of the eerebrovascular diseases and reduce the fatality and disability rate.
