摘要
伯益部落是东方以鸟为图腾族团中的重要一支 ,系嬴姓少昊的后裔。伯益在舜帝时任掌管山泽的“虞”官 ,政绩突出 ,又佐禹治水 ,造福于民。舜帝以其功封于秦 (今河南范县 )。他在皋陶卒后 ,又被推举为禹的继位人 ,地位显赫。夏启夺位称王后 ,伯益子孙被封立数国。其中秦、赵两国势力较大 ,都成为战国“七雄”之一。秦横扫六国 ,建立主宰中国的第一个封建制王朝 ,为历史发展做出了重大贡献。
The Tribe of Boyi was an important branch of the clan in the east of Ancient China with birds as their totems,being the descendents of Shaohao surnamed Ying.Under Emperor Shun,Boyi was an official in charge of mountains and lakes,having done brilliant work.He also helped Yu to regulate rivers and water\|courses ,in order to benefit the people.For this Emperor Shun granted him the Land of Qin(now Fan County in Henan Province).After Gaotao's death,he was elected the successor to Yu.When Qi of the Xia Dynasty usurped the throne,the descendents of Boyi were granted many states,of which Qin and Zhao were very power\|ful when Seven Kingdoms rivalled with each other.Qin wiped out the other six and established the first feudal dynasty in China,making great contributions to the historical development.
