摘要
对照改革开放前林纾被批判的命运,近三十年以来林纾的形象不断演进,越变越"好看",越变越人性、人文化。前后大相径庭的这一落差,折射出当今社会文化的逐渐多元、包容与时代的进步。过去长期流行的二元对立的固化思维定势,已经遭到大多学人的扬弃,多元的文化格局正在形成。
As compared to his fate of being refuted or criticized before the opening up to the outside world, the image of Lin Shu has evolved and turned into better appearance, which is more humane and more ＂fair＂ man-like in the cultural sense. The sharp distinction of his images before and after the opening up reflects the gradual pluralism and tolerance of the social culture and progress of the times. It also shows that the past long-term popular contradictary （binary opposing） solidified think- ing has been discarded by most of the Chinese scholars and a diversified cultural lattice is forming.
