摘要
对英国的妥协传统和中国哲学中的中庸思想进行对比 ,旨在剖析英国文化的这一特定传统的同时 ,深化对中国的相应传统文化内涵的理解 。
A contrastive study is made of the British tradition of compromise and the golden mean of Chinese philosophy. The similarities and differences are explained and analyzed in terms of cultural characteristics, historic events and political philosophy with a view to deepening understanding of the Chinese traditional Culture and promoting its creative transformation along with a meaningful scrutiny of an important aspect of British tradition.
