Beads from Bodhi Trees is a collection of essays by members of New Southern Society. Nine of those essays were written by Liu Wugou, which possess features of critical realism and reflect his writing talent. For this reason, Liu Wugou occupies an important place in the history of development of literature of New Southern Society.
