摘要
制度是个人或组织在追求经济利益最大化时约束个人行为的规则或章程,甚至是某种道德观念。诺斯从制度层面对以美国为代表的西方国家经济增长及人类社会发展状况的独特分析,为研究中国封建社会的长期延续及近代经济衰落有着深刻的启示。近代中国经济发展一直处于无效或低效的系统,制度的缺失或缺乏创新是个主要原因。
System is the rules, charters or even some moral concepts to restrain individual＇ s behavior when he/she pursues the maximal economic interest. North＇ s unique analysis of the economic growth of western countries and human social development has shed some light on the research into the prolonged Feudalism and backward e-conomy in modern China. The main reasons for the low efficiency of China＇ s economy are the lack of system or in-novation.
