摘要
采用有限元法研究了不同通道宽度比侧向挤压时模具外侧圆角对材料变形的影响.结果表明,外侧圆角对变形坯料的等效应变和载荷的影响与通道宽度比有关,随外侧圆角的增加,最大变形载荷逐渐下降;当通道宽度比为1.25时,坯料上表面到下表面的等效应变大小逐渐下降,坯料中间等效应变较均匀的区域所占比例下降.当通道宽度比为1.67且外侧为尖角时,坯料下表面区域产生严重的应变集中,随外侧圆角的增加,应变集中程度降低,最大等效应变由坯料的下表面转到坯料的上表面.研究说明在一定的通道宽度比情况下,选择合适的模具外侧圆角可以获得较好的载荷和等效应变分布的配合.
The effect of the die outer comer on billet deformation is investigated by the finite element method (FEM) during stretching lateral extrusion with different channel width ratios. The results show that the effect of die outer corner on effective strain and extrusion load is related with the channel width ratio. The maximum deformation load decreases with the increase of die outer comer. When the channel width ratio is 1.25, the magnitude of effective strain from top surface to bottom surface of the deformed billet decreases gradually, and the proportion of the region which has more uniform effective strain distribution also decreases with increasing die outer corner. When the channel width ratio is 1.67 and the outer comer is sharp, severe strain concentration occurs at the billet bottom surface. But the degree of strain concentration decreases and the maximum effective strain is transferred from the bottom surface to the top surface of the billet as the die outer comer increases. The above results illustrate that a desirable combination of extrusion load and effective strain distribution can be obtained by selecting appropriate die outer comer for a given channel width ratio.
