摘要
本文回顾了膜结构在世界范围内发展的过程与经验，并提出了设计与建造中的几个问题．膜结构的形状富于变化，且在施工过程中逐步形成，其初始形态的确定需要建筑与结构设计的合作．在成功开发了适用的织物后，膜结构获得了长足进步，由临时性的帐篷发展为永久性建筑。膜的支承有多种方式，如空气，索或骨架，各种支承具有不同特点。
This paper reviews the process and experience of the development of membrane structures worldwide. Problems encounted during the design and construction are presented. The shapes of membrane structures are full of variation and are formed gradually during construction. The finding of initial shape should be corporated in the architectural and structural design. After developing the suitable fabric for use, membrane structures have made greaf progress from femporary tents to permanent buildings, There are many boys to support the membranes, such as air cable or frames. Different types of supporting conditions and their special features are also discussed.
