摘要
柳宗元因永贞革新失败,被贬为永州司马。贬谪期间,柳宗元写信给故旧亲朋,抒发抑郁情怀。这些书信的内容主要是:反思被贬的缘由;描写谪居之苦,表达著书之志;陈述无嗣之忧,渴望故人相助,脱离谪籍。这些书信多为回信,而非主动致书,其中有着难言的苦衷。因收信人的身份不同,柳书在称谓、叙述的侧重点、语言风格上呈现细微的差异。
Due to the failure of Yongzhen renovation, Liu Zongyuan was relegated as a local official in the Yongzhou County. During this period he has written some correspondences to his old friends and relatives expressing his depressive feelings. The contents of the these correspondences include the reflection on the causes of his relegation, describing the difficulty of his life in relegation, expressing his aspiring of writing, his worry of having no offspring, and his yearning for getting help from his friend in order to get out off the relegation. Most of these communications are reply rather than initial, implying some unspeakable sorrow. The title addressing, emphasizing of narration and language style are slightly different according to the status of different recelvers.
