摘要
《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》(2000)对全国英语专业的课程设置、教材教法和教学评估有重要的指导作用。批判性思维在21世纪的教育中具有普遍性地位。《大纲》虽然对批判性思维有所论述,但没有阐述批判性思维与语言教学的关系,也没有阐述批判性思维与课程的具体结合。在英语专业的培养目标、教学要求、课程设置和教学过程中明确学习者思辨能力的系统培养,对摆脱传统的语言训练模式、克服英语专业学生的"思辨缺席症"具有直接效用。
The problem of critical thinking has plagued the educational sector of English language and literature for many years; a solution to it has been made priority by the national development strategic plans. The national curriculum for English majors is supposed to exert great influence on the curriculum, teaching pedagogy, and testing in English education. Yet its understanding of eritieal thinking is far from enough. There are no special supportive courses for critical thinking, careless handling of critical thinking in the course description, and contradictive arguments. A further revision of the national curriculum should better serve the healthy growth of critical thinking in English majors.
