一种改进的网络可用带宽测量方法

An Improved Methodology for Measuring Network Available Bandwidth

摘要 网络可用带宽是衡量网络性能的重要参数。在流量工程、QoS控制、拥塞控制等领域具有重要意义。在分析网络可用带宽测量算法PathChirp的基础上,改进了其判断时延转折点和调整发送速率的方法。并在NS2仿真环境中进行了验证。实验结果表明,改进算法提高了测量的准确性,并且能够很好地跟踪网络可用带宽的变化。 The measurement of network available bandwidth an important parameter of measuring network per- formance metrics it plays a fundamental role in traffic engineering, QoS control, congestion control and other as- pects. PathChirp, which is a method to measure the network available bandwidth is analysed, then the technique of catching the delay change and regulating tested. Experiment results show that the change of network available bandwidth. the send rate is improved, and the improved method is efficient, and it improved method in NS2 simulation is has a good performance in tracing the
