摘要
《围城》是钱钟书先生的一部重要作品。《围城》英译本出版后深受好评,但也遭受到不少批评,多是立足于目标语的角度,而忽略了译者主体性的作用。本文从语言、风格、文化三个层面分析了译者主体性在《围城》英译本中的体现。
Fortress Besieged is an important work of Mr Qian Zhongshu. After the publishment of the English translated version of For- tress Besieged, it received high praise immediately. However, there are also many criticisms which are based on the point of view of the target language, and neglect the role of translator＇ s subjectivity. This paper analyzes how the translator＇ s subjectivity is reflected in For- tress besieged in terms of three levels ： on linguistic form and structure level, on the style level as well as on the cultural level.
